TENDULKAR AT TUSSAUDS



He's had many firsts and this one will make him stand next to other sporting legends of his era. Sachin Tendulkar's image goes up at Madame Tussauds next month, the first of Indian sportsperson at the famous waxwork museum in London. Tendulkar will be featured in cricket whites, making a celebratory pose after scoring a century.
The museum already features current sporting heroes like Tiger Woods and David Beckham.
"We are delighted to confirm our next sporting superstar is going to be Sachin Tendulkar; his achievements on the cricket pitch are phenomenal and he is one of the biggest names in international sport," Liz Edwards, Madame Tussauds PR manager, said in a statement.
Just before leaving for the tour of New Zealand with the Indian cricket team, the master blaster had a long sitting with a Tussauds team in Mumbai.
