What's happened to the Indian bowlers?
After a superb outing vs the Aussies, they looked completely out of sorts vs Sri Lanka, especially Mr Sreesanth, who was hit all over the park by Sanath Jayasuriya.
True, the conditions in Canberra were quite different than Melbourne. However, if the Lankan bowlers can adapt to it quickly, then why can't the Indians?
And, what about 19 extras? That's way too much when you don't have a big total to defend.
And, Sreesanth, you better concentrate on your bowling than on tattoos and useless aggression.
48 runs from your three overs at an economy rate of 16.00 ! This is the worst ever strike rate recorded by any bowler in a three-over spell in limited-overs internationals.
Come on, forget antics and get back to the basics.

ReplyDeleteIt is the high time that Indian bowlers need to realize their responsibility...moreovr aftr the victory aganist Aussies thngs were expcted to improve...
as a cricket fan there is no harm in keepng hopes
i think sreesanth needs to get more disciplined. he should concentrate on his bowling
ReplyDeleteWhen India wins 3 World ODI's in a row and wins 16 Tests in a row twice, maybe they can call themselves the best in the world.
ReplyDeleteRemember Australia has a population of only 20+Million compared to India's 1 Billion.
The Aussies got arrogant against the English in 2005 and lost the Ashes, but came back and won the following series 5-0. They won their THIRD ODI World Championship and then equaled the World Record for consecutive Test wins. If I were India I wouldn't be going around saying how great they are, the Aussies will come back. Take them lightly at your peril.
