LOVE THEM. HATE THEM. IGNORE THEM

Whether they play at home or away, Pakistani cricketers have a knack of remaining in news for all the wrong reasons. In faraway England, where one thought that focus of Afridi's men would totally be on cricket, there were two curious cases involving two men - one too hot to handle and the other too (c)old to tolerate. And, as is the common practice in Pakistan to blame the 'not-so-friendly' neighbourer for everything that goes wrong, there was an Indian hand in at least one of the incidents. Mohd Aamer is young. And restless. Maybe he still doesn't have a driving license yet. If he doesn't have it, chances are that he won't get it at all, what with his stupid habit of crashing into batsmen after taking a wicket. Ask Ponting and Co, they will be in the best position to explain it. Aamer's former skipper meanwhile was bitten by not soccer, but the matches at All England Club. So engrossed was Shoaib Malik in getting his wife and Indian sensation Sania Mirza ready for the Wimbledon, that he reportedly forgot to attend a few practice sessions with his country's cricket team. A suspension followed ahead of the Test series vs Australia even though the Pakistan Cricket Board sought to downplay the incident. Way to go both of you!
