SWITCHING IT ALL, KP STYLE

Now we know why Kevin Pietersen was itching to play in the Indian Premier League. If only KP, who would turn 28 on Friday, would have played in the IPL, we would not have to wait till June to witness his switch-hitting skills. Left is right in this case at least, it seems. Surely the purists and legends like Don Bradman will be turning in their graves after watching KP's ambidextrous batting. Kiwi Scott Styris, who was at the receiving end in the middle, summed it up all in the end: "Sometimes you just have to take your hat off and say 'well played'. We all admire good cricket and I think that is what it was." So that's it. Let's just enjoy it rather than getting into an endless debate of whether the shot was legal or illegal. Styris, on the other hand, would just be praying that KP turns up for his team Deccan Chargers in the IPL, next year.
