YUVI EN ROUTE TO BECOMING A KING
Who would've thought at the start of IPL, especially after they had lost their first two games, that Punjab Kings XI will give the rest of the teams a run for their money? They did have match-winners in Lee, Yuvraj, Pathan and Sreesanth but expecting them to outshine the likes of Haydens, Dhonis, Symonds, Gilchrists, Gangulys and Sehwags was perhaps asking for too much. Right? Wrong. Five wins in a row for the Punjab team has proved that they are indeed serious contenders for a spot in the final. What it has also proved is that their skipper Yuvraj Singh has got a cool head over his shoulders. That he has been able to not only outwit his former skippers Sourav Ganguly and Rahul Dravid so far but also unearth talented lads like Shaun Marsh, is certainly one achievement Yuvi can feel proud of. By the way, as the joke doing the rounds in the IPL, do you also think that Bangalore Royal Challengers team can be better off in Tests than in the Twenty20 version?
