NEL CHUCKED OUT

It’s happening yet again. Fast bowler Andre Nel is the latest victim of Cricket South Africa’s Transformation Policy. Nel has been left out of Proteas’ Test team which will play against India in 3-Test series starting March 26 in Chennai.
The 30-year-old was axed because CSA’s Transformation policy states that there must be 6 players of colour in a squad of 14 and 7 in a 15-member team. So disappointed is Nel that he decided to not to play South Africa’s one-dayer vs Bangladesh before being convinced at the last hour by coach Mickey Arthur.

Nel is, in fact, now contemplating leaving South Africa. He surely wouldn’t the first one to do so. Mr Kevin Pietersen is nodding his head in agreement.
