SYMONDS CAUGHT & BOWLED?

It seems that Australia's Andrew Symonds has a penchant for staying in the headlines. According to reports coming from Down Under, Cricket Australia has warned the Queensland player of serious consequences if he decides to opt out of Australia's tour of Pakistan next month. And, what are those consequences: No permission to play in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Symonds wanted to pull out of the tour citing security concerns in the terrorism-hit country.

So, Mr. Roy caught in the muddle once again. The all-rounder had fetched $1.47 million, way above any of his Australian mates and second only to Indian ODI skipper MS Dhoni ($ 1.65 million). But, mate you wouldn't be the only one who'll spend sleepless nights. Your Hyderabad franchise will share the same fate.
