DRAVID'S DILEMMA

When was the last time you saw Rahul Dravid struggling so badly in the middle? The Wall, which had stood tall on numerous occasions, was literally hanging out to save his place in the Indian playing XI. Should his 53-run knock on Wednesday be termed as a career saving knock? Well, the Australian media definitely thinks so. In fact, one daily Down Under compared his partnership with VVS Laxman to the fable of the Hare and the Tortoise. 'Mr Dependable' was even given a standing ovation by the crowd after taking a single... one which came after facing 40 balls and 45 minutes. Whatever said and done, this knock would've done a world of good to Dravid's confidence. Hopefully, this sets the tone for the rest of the series
